Amh test: Unexplained fertility

Unexplained fertility, every test we had came back fine, I ovulate regularly. I had my amh tested privately 8 months ago and it was very low at 3.09, and I was 28 then. I took DHEA 75mg a day for three months from feb to april this year, i'd give it a go for sure, my acupuncturist recommended it too. Hi kerri I to had a similar problem where my amh came back as 0.06 I'm 38 and to was told we would never had children even with Ivf as my egg quality was poor. We decided to get a second opinion and went to a private Ivf clinic in central London who told us they don't work with amh results only with fsh. At the time back in October my fsh levels were also high at 12 but they said they would monitor me every month with blood test and when my levels were at their best they would then start the ... No expert but I can't see how AMH levels would necessarily be affected by a pregnancy/miscarriage. Different if you were testing your hormones. But probably best to wait until you've had a negative pregnancy test and had a normal period, if you haven't already. I'd be a bit concerned personally if you're still getting positive tests 6 weeks after an early miscarriage, if I were you I'd contact the GP or early pregnancy unit to check there aren't any retained products. My GP ticked the box on the blood test form, but said she wasn't sure if the lab would do it, however they did. I'd never heard of the test before she suggested it. But when I've posted about this before, other posters have said that this is unusual. So no harm in asking, but be prepared to have to have it done privately.
