About Us The Kala Ghoda Association was formed on 30th October 1998 with the aim of maintaining and preserving the heritage of the Kala Ghoda area – South Mumbai’s beloved art district. This was made possible by the coming together of various art galleries, patrons and concerned citizens. The Festival is organised by the Kala Ghoda Association (a non-profit organisation that states its objectives as "physically upgrading the Kala Ghoda sub-precinct and making it the Art District of Mumbai") and curated by teams handling each of the 12 sections of the festival . Celebrate 25 years of art, culture, and community at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2025, with over 300 events. Even though it will be held online, the duration of the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2025 will be from 25 January 2025 to 2 February 2025. The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai will become the hotbed of differentiating themes, from poetry to dance, filmmaking, comedy, and much more.
