PM Vishwakarma , a Central Sector Scheme, was launched on 17th September, 2023 by the Prime Minister to provide end-to-end support to artisans and craftspeople who work with their hands and tools. The Central Sector Scheme “ PM Vishwakarma ” was launched on 17th September, 2023 with a financial outlay of Rs.13,000 crore for a period of five years (FY 2023-24 to FY 2027-28). The scheme aims to provide end-to-end support to artisans and crafts people who work with their hands and tools. The PM Vishwakarma Yojana Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on 17th September 2023. This transformative initiative was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide comprehensive support to artisans and craftspeople who work with their hands and tools.
