This is the first part of the How-to I put together for checking/changing your valve clearances on the Z750S engine. It should be VERY similar for the Z1000 engine. Note that I had to adjust 7 valves! at 14,000 miles. I had the bike apart for my front end swap anyway - so I decided to check... I have a 2007 z1000 with 4000 miles and my clutch is slipping. I have mobil one syn oil and i have the clutch adjuster tighened with a little slack in it. Anyone have a fix for me? I dont ride it that hard. Think my clutch springs or plates are bad already?
