And I replaced my 4 RAM sticks with 8 GB RAM but my system shows : Installed memory ( RAM ): 8.00 GB (3.23 GB usable). Please advise if anyone knows how to fix this. Hey guys I was trying to upgrade ram for my Asus Tuf FX505DT Laptop. I bought a (Samsung 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM Memory Module for Laptops (260 Pin SODIMM, 1.2V) M471A1K43CB1) off amazon. A 5.9 GB commit limit with 3.9 GB usable RAM is explainable only be the existence of a 2 GB pagefile. The commit limit is RAM size + pagefile size, minus a small overhead. If not explicitly configured it must be a temporary pagefile created by Windows. There are few legitimate reasons to disable the pagefile, and many not to. Can you find in Task Manager what is using most RAM ? as you can see in the first screenshot, task manager shows a total usage of 207 mb. That can't be 25% of 8GB ram
