An A2 piece of paper measures 420 × 594 mm or 16.5 × 23.4 inches . Cutting it in half will create two A3 sheets of paper. An A2 piece of paper will fit into a C2 envelope. When folded in half, it will fit into a C3 envelope. A2 is part of the A series and is defined by the ISO 216 international paper size standard.
