A section of the 4/6 lane highway was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi last year in July. Record-breaking distance: The Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway holds a special significance for India's oil industry. It's designed to be the first expressway in the country to directly connect three major oil refineries: Bathinda, Barmer, and Jamnagar. This dedicated route is expected to improve the efficiency and timeliness of oil transportation within India.
