The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination ( BBOSE ) has launched the Open Basic Education (OBE) Programme, as an alternative educational programme, equivalent to the Elementary Education Programme of the formal education system. BBOSE stands for Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination. Every year, the BBOSE examination is held twice, in June and December 2025. The BBOSE registration for December session has been closed. The last date to register without late fees was October 10, 2025.
