Bhanu Priya was the dancing sensation of the South. Studying dance professionally she communicated her deep love for it by being selected for a film role while still at school when the renowned Tamil Director, "Bharathi Raja came to see her. Bhanupriya (born Manga Anandha Bhanu; 15 January 1967) is an Indian actress and dancer . In a four decade old career, she has appeared in 165 feature films, predominantly in Telugu and Tamil, and a few in Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. Biography: Pandu Babu and Ragamali welcomed Bhanupriya into the world on January 15, 1967, in the Telugu-speaking village of Rangampeta, Andhra Pradesh, close to Rajahmundry. She went by the name Mangabhanu. Later on, her family relocated to Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Renowned actor Bhanupriya has long been celebrated not just for her acting prowess but also for her extraordinary talent in classical dance.
