Bison movie review: Perhaps it has to do

Perhaps it has to do with how Bison Kaalamadaan evokes the world of films like Vada Chennai, Asuran, Gangs of Wasseypur, Nayakan, Satya, and, of course, the aforementioned Sarpatta Parambarai. Bison Kaalamaadan feels like it's cut out of the same fabric as those films. Did I feel it’s Mari Selvaraj's biggest film yet? Undoubtedly. Bison Kaalamaadan is a movie that has a pretty extensive world-building happening on a script level. While it helps the movie to make the audience understand the backdrop and struggles of someone like Kittan, the political messaging is a little too on your face, which reduces the cinematic high it could provide. If you are okay with dialogue-heavy storytelling of political subjects, Bison has enough in it to keep you satisfied. Bison Kaalamaadan Movie Review : Breathe. When every inch of one’s surroundings exists to overwhelm and not nurture a person, they are forced to survive in the rarefied air. ' Bison ' is among the best films to have been released this year and among the absolute best sports dramas to have emerged from Tamil cinema.
