My heart was definitely heading into crisis before taking Bisoprolol , despite the testes indicating that mechanically all was well, and this drug has slowed my heart and given it respite, and enabled it to mend itself. Hi everyone, New to the forums but I just wanted to share my experience on bisoprolol . Earlier this year I was having anxiety issues with alot of extrasystoles (i’m 39yo). (by alot I mean WTH is going down in there) To help and while testing my doctor put me on propanolol (didn’t like the feeling) at first and after a few days and a visit to the emergency room the doctor changed my medication to bisoprolol (2.5 mg for a week if not better 5 mg). After bloodwork, EKG and a 48 hours holter ... I was wondering if anyone had experienced any of the above side effects of bisoprolol . I have been taking it for a number of years and unable to stand the peripheral neuropathy any longer. I would be very interested to hear what other people's experiences have been on this drug.
