Several Muslim women in India welcomed New Year 2022 with a horrific sight on social media, their own photos uploaded on an app called ' Bulli Bai ' meant to 'auction' them to online bidders. While three accused had been granted bail in April this year, the Mumbai sessions court on Tuesday granted bail to the remaining accused, which included the alleged founders of both apps. The Bulli Bai app operated on an open-source platform called GitHub.
