Deepak Chahar (born 7 August 1992) is an Indian international cricketer. He is a right-arm medium pace swing bowler, who plays for Rajasthan in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 2018 Asia Cup. Chahar made his IPL debut for Rising Pune Supergiant before spending the next seven years at CSK, where he played the role of a lead bowler, especially in the powerplay. He impressed under the captaincy of Dhoni and received the national call-up in limited-overs cricket. Deepak Chahar is a classical swing bowler who added T20 smarts to his game to pick up 6 for 7 against Bangladesh in 2019, then the best bowling figures in T20Is.
