Given the engine is built by Bajaj I don't think KTM's past history really applies, also even with Jap manufacturers high mileage reliability can vary from model to model so I'm looking for Duke specific info. Surely 13,000ks can't be the highest Kilometre Duke on the forum? I just crossed 20k miles on my '16 Duke 390 and have been loving it! Had to change the cam chain tensioner and rear shock to keep her running (lots of other goodies too). Who here has high mileage ??? What have you done to keep your baby rolling? I ride in Michigan, mostly to and from work--sometimes longer trips. Generally, I have been getting about 14-16 miles per liter, according to the display. This puts the driving range at about 154 - 176 miles. yesterday, I rode to the dealer for my first service. It was 10% highway, 10% city, and 80% two-lane country roads. I rode 143 miles on 2.022 gallons of gas. This equates to 70 mpg. On previous tanks, the least I have gotten is 58 mpg. A more accurate method to gauge fuel status is as follows: Pull up "Trip 1" on the dash by using the Mode button; Press the Set button for 5 seconds to zero out the Trip 1 mileage ; Fill tank. Note mileage and fuel quantity added at several consecutive fill-ups to get a realistic picture of your bike's typical mileage .
