Fundamental Rights , in Part III (Articles 12-35) of the Indian Constitution, are known as the "Magna Carta of Indian Constitution," ensuring essential freedoms. Since India opted to be a democratic republic, we incorporated fundamental rights to achieve our objective as enshrined in the Preamble.
