Google Input Tools enables you to type in your language using a standard English keyboard. For Malayalam , you can type Manglish (e.g., ente peru vijith aanu) and it will automatically convert to Malayalam script (എന്റെ പേര് വിജിത്ത് ആണ്). Though Google no longer officially provides the offline version, this repo offers a working and verified offline installer. Google input tools help it easy to type Indian languages anywhere on the web and application. It is completely free-to-use software. But recently Google removed the software from there site and only support online and chrome version.
