Gprec: Established in 1984-85

Established in 1984-85, it is one of the earliest private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh state. GPREC has been functioning as an autonomous institution since 2006. GPREC is a private engineering college established in 1984 by the G.Pulla Reddy Charities trust. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and technology, and has a vision of becoming a hub of academic and industrial research. The Training and Placement Cell is headed by Dr.B.Veerabhadra Reddy, Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Apart from a full-time Addl. Training and Placement Officer, a committee, with one faculty member and one student member from each department, helps the cell function effectively by coordinating its activities. The cell is fully equipped to churn out industry ready candidates and is actively liaisoning with industries of repute and keeps the students informed of various job opportunities ... The department is one of the three departments with which the college was established in the academic year 1984-85 with intake strength of 60 per batch, now it is increased to 120 per batch . The Department is having M.Tech course with Structural Engineering as Specialization.The department is having all necessary labs with good equipment required for UG students.
