The paper provides a brief overview of history and Culture of the the Idoma people of Benue State in Central Nigeria Idoma Association USA We aim to promote unity, culture, economics and educational growth among Idoma speaking communities in the United States and in Nigeria. The Idoma people, located primarily in Benue State, Nigeria, are the second largest ethnic group in the region, with a rich history of migration and socio-political structure. Their society is organized around a king known as Oche, with family units forming the smallest social structure, and they engage in various occupations including farming and trading. The Idoma language consists of eight dialects, reflecting their diverse cultural heritage. The Idoma people are the second-largest ethnic group in Benue State, Nigeria.
