Fueled by India’s Make in India initiative, offering $6 billion in incentives. Handles AirPods, iPads, Apple Watches, and MacBooks. Product Details: iPhone manufacturing involves sourcing components from over 200 companies worldwide, with assembly primarily done by Foxconn and Pegatron in countries like China, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea. While iPhone components are manufactured worldwide, the majority of assembly is carried out in Zhengzhou, China. Foxconn and Pegatron manage the assembly responsibility. Foxconn’s Zhengzhou production facility can produce 500,000 iPhones per day. Its assembly line has around 350,000 employees. The iPhone assembly process is more streamlined, as only two companies complete the process for iPods, iPhones, and iPads. All the manufactured components are sent to Foxconn and Pegatron, which are based in Taiwan.
