Who has a divine arrow and a beautiful bow in His hands, I pray to that Śrī Rāma who is the Lord of Raghu dynasty. Above three shlokas (verses) should be recited every morning as regular prayer to Śrī Rāma before chanting the Guru-Mantra. Lord Rama was born during the Treta Yuga in Ayodhya, a city in present-day Uttar Pradesh, India. He was the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, manifesting to rid the world of the demon king Ravana and restore righteousness. The specifics of his birth are detailed in the Bala Kanda of the Ramayana. Shri Ramachandra; the central figure of the Hindu epic Ramayana is a major deity in Hinduism; especially important to Vaishnavism. Born in a royal family, Lord Rama ’s life was challenged by unexpected circumstances such as exile for 14 years and several moral dilemmas and ethical questions. The seventh avatar of Vishnuji, Lord Rama , arrived on Earth approximately 869,000 years ago during the Treta-Yuga era. He came when the evil on Earth was extreme, and humanity was on the brink of pain and suffering. Lord Ram descended to save humanity and restore their faith in the Almighty.
