The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday said all Nifty index weekly futures and options (F&O) contracts shall expire on Monday instead of Thursday. The expiry day of an F&O contract is the day on which it is due for settlement between the buyers and sellers of the contract. The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has announced a major change in the expiry schedule for index and stock derivatives. Effective April 4, 2025, traders will need to adjust their strategies as expiry days shift from Thursdays to Mondays for multiple contracts.
