In December 2021, a reported personal essay I’d written on the cultural phenomenon of keeping cats as pets, was published in Cat People, an anthology published by Simon & Schuster India. The book is available on Amazon, and at most local bookstores in India. Vangmayi Parakala , daughter of India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, leads a private life despite her prominent family.
