Farmers can complete their Know Your Customer (KYC) process online, ensuring that they meet the eligibility criteria and receive timely disbursements of the financial aid. This service enables farmers to check the status of their applications for the PM-Kisan scheme. The 21st installment of the PM-KISAN scheme is expected in the first half of November, providing Rs 2,000 to eligible farmers as part of the Rs 6,000 annual support. To ensure timely payment, farmers must complete e-KYC, link Aadhaar with their bank account, verify land records, and update bank details on the PM-KISAN portal. e-KYC Mandatory: All farmers must complete their e-KYC via OTP or biometric verification to receive benefits. Aadhaar-linking essential: Aadhaar card must be linked with the bank account and land records. To provide the financial need of farmers in procuring various inputs for crop production. Biometric based e-KYC: This facility has been made available to over 4 lakh Common service Centres, and various State Seva Kendras across the country to provide the services at the doorsteps/neighbourhood of the farmers.
