Point Nemo , also known as the Oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility, holds the distinction of being the farthest point from any landmass on Earth. It is the opposite of all the other PIAs which are the furthest from the ocean in any direction. The International Space Station (ISS) is set to be deorbited over the Pacific Ocean's spacecraft cemetery, Point Nemo , in late 2030.
