Quadrant Quadrant is the region enclosed by the intersection of the X-axis and the Y-axis. On the cartesian plane when the two axes, X-axis and Y-axis, intersect with each other at 90 º and there are four regions formed around it, and those regions are called quadrants. So, every plane has four quadrants each bounded by half of the axes. Each quadrant is denoted by Roman numerals and named Quadrant I, Quadrant II, Quadrant III, and Quadrant IV based on their position with respect to the axes. Qdrant is an Open-Source Vector Database and Vector Search Engine written in Rust. It provides fast and scalable vector similarity search service with convenient API. We will learn more about the four quadrants of a coordinate system in this article, as well as how to plot and locate points in each quadrant . Learn what a quadrant is, how to locate and plot points on the coordinate plane, and how to identify the sign of a quadrant . Find solved examples, practice problems, and frequently asked questions on quadrants.
