Rajesh (20 December 1949 – 29 May 2025) was an Indian actor who performed in predominantly Tamil films and serials. He completed more than 50 years in films and appeared as lead roles and supporting roles in over 150 films. Veteran actor Rajesh, known for his lead and supporting roles in Tamil and Malayalam films and television serials, passed away in Chennai on 29 May. Rajesh acted in over 100 Tamil films and was known for his intense performances. He was introduced by late filmmaker K Balachander in 'Aval Oru Thodarkadhai'. Some of his famous films include 'Thanneer Thanneer', 'Andha 7 Naatkal' and 'Payanangal Mudivadhillai', among others. Veteran Tamil film actor Rajesh, who featured in over 150 films, has passed away at the age of 75 following a period of ill health. The popular actor, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, had been unwell for several days.
