SCERT Delhi is an autonomous organization that provides academic support for school education in Delhi. It conducts teacher education, research, in-service training, curriculum development and e-learning programmes. SCERT was established after the recommendation made by the National Education Policy in 1986 for the decentralization of functions to provide quality education training research. It is also an affiliating body for elementary teacher education and early childhood care and education courses.
