A booking status can be Confirmed (CNF), Waiting List (WL), Reservation Against Cancellation (RAC), etc. Booking Status tells whether you have a seat on the train or not. Check PNR Status online with Confirmtkt before your train journey and also get PNR prediction of your waitlist ticket confirmation chances.
