BSNL reported Rs 5,347 crore in revenue in Q2FY26, achieving 93% of its target. ARPU improved 12%. Data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India shows BSNL pipped Bharti Airtel to add subscribers for the two straight months—August and September. Recently, PM Modi launched nearly 1 lakh towers for state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL ), which will provide fourth-generation-backed high-speed mobile services to consumers, including in rural and remote regions. BSNL has announced its 5G services will start after it completes the rollout of 4G in mid 2025. Additionally, the state-owned telco has announced seven new services to enhance user experience across India.
