I was in Ihx for a year. It was a solid position. I’ve worked retail and care for AT&T. I was dispatched to houses that were getting installed with internet/tv. Most of the time they had a different wireless carrier. I was to assist them with the app setups while asking lifestyle questions. Then make offers with our wireless and promotions. We had better offers than any other part of the company. You’ll have sales quotas. It involved a lot of follow-up and funnel managing. IHX gets a bad ... The position doesn’t have a set schedule. If you don’t have any sales by 5pm, your manager will expect you to stay out until you get a sale or there is no more jobs. Job is partly based on DTV jobs, but now there is a cold calling side and going to different places of business to try to get leads. You will also have split days off. Everyone gets Sunday off and then people with more seniority/better sales will take Monday and you’ll get most likely a middle of the week day off. It is ... If you are IHX be careful with what you are doing. Just got word a nationwide investigation is going on. For commission fraud on sales and the higher ups in IHX are letting it happen. Word is the IHX sales reps are targeting retail sales consultants sales and flipping them. The word is that it is as deep as technicians and IHX area managers. If you submit a wired sale the IHX rep is switching it to get credit from them. IHX has great promotions, but they do take up to 2-3 bill cycles. If you want to double-check the promotions that were offered, just go to a cor store and have them look up his attuid and then find the managers email/number to call. I was a store manager for cor Retail 2017-2022.
