Vlookup formula in excel: Hi

Hi, I have a table as shown below.I want to look value from 1st Row and return the value from the 2nd row. When I am applying vlookup formula to look value "B" , then the value returned is "Mike/Roger" which is without strike through. Is there any way I can get the value with strike-through (on... I am running a VLOOKUP , my look up value is a number that is derived from the output of a formula . For some reason the VLOOKUP does not work when the look up value is derived this way. if I manually type in the number it works.
